Primex Finance rewards participants with ePMX tokens for their activities on Mainnet. Here’s how these rewards are calculated for lenders and traders, including where they are sent, their transferability, and the timing of distribution.

For Lenders

Lenders provide liquidity to Credit Buckets and earn ePMX rewards based on the amount and duration of their deposits during both Accumulation and Stablilization stages. When a Bucket transitions to the Stabilization stage, lenders begin to earn lending interest based on the Interest Rate indicated in the Bucket parameters, which is in addition to the ePMX rewards.

A bonus 7% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) in stablecoins is guaranteed for any bucket during both the Accumulation and Stabilization stages. However, this bonus is distributed only after the Stabilization stage is completed, reinforcing the importance of maintaining liquidity until the end of this phase to secure the bonus.

For Traders

Traders, particularly Early Margin Traders, earn ePMX rewards on a per-second basis proportional to the size of their positions. For Spot Traders, ePMX rewards are calculated based on trading volume and distributed daily, ensuring a frequent and regular reward cycle.

Where Rewards Are Sent

ePMX rewards are sent directly to participants' Account Balances within the Primex Finance platform. Users can check their current ePMX balance and rewards by navigating to the Account Balance section within the Primex App.

Transferability of ePMX Rewards

ePMX tokens, introduced during the Mainnet Beta phase, are an early iteration of the Primex Token (PMX) with restricted functionality. These tokens are non-transferable in the traditional sense, as they can only be moved to and from predefined addresses, such as the Treasury and the reward distributor. This limitation is designed to ensure the integrity and controlled distribution of tokens during the early stages of the Primex Finance ecosystem's development.

Reward Distribution Timing

  • For Lenders: ePMX rewards become claimable after the Stabilization stage is concluded.

  • For Traders: Margin Traders accrue rewards continuously, while Spot Traders receive their ePMX rewards daily, based on their activity within the platform.

Conclusion

Both lending and trading on Primex Finance Mainnet are incentivized with ePMX rewards, providing participants with the opportunity to earn while contributing to the ecosystem. By understanding the mechanisms of reward calculation and the distribution process, users can better strategize their activities to maximize returns.
