Spot trading is a popular and simple trading method in which a Trader intends to profit from fluctuations in the market by trading their own assets. This type of trading is currently available on most existing CEXs and DEXs, allowing traders to use their own liquidity without any leverage.

Primex offers spot trading as one of its core features, with the added benefit of conditional orders similar to those available for margin trading (see Limit orders on Primex, Take Profit & Stop Loss with Primex).

NOTE: The key difference between Spot 1X and Swap features is that Swap allows only to buy/sell assets at the Market or Limit price but doesn't have the option to either track/modify or exit the position unlike Spot 1X, which provides a Trader with the above-mentioned Take Profit and Stop Loss closing orders. Please, refer to the Trader Guides section for more details on how to trade with each of the features.

To start trading on Spot 1X, kindly refer to How to open a Spot Market Position and How to create a Spot Limit Order.
