A position may be closed automatically if you set the exit conditions like Take Profit and/or Stop Loss. For details, kindly refer to the How to open a Spot Market position.
In this article, we will guide you through manual closing.
Step 1
A Trader can close any of their positions to get a profit or stop losses at any moment. To close your position, go to the Trading page and look at the list of your Spot positions on the respective tab under the trading chart. Place your cursor on the position you want to close and click Close position.
Step 2
In the next window, before closing the position you can modify 3 parameters - Dex, Size to Close and Slippage Tolerance.
Dex
Choose a specific DEX or Primex DEX aggregation option from the drop-down list.
Size to Close
Specify the amount or % of the position to close.
NOTE: If a position is closed completely, it's removed from the list; otherwise, it stays with a smaller amount.
Slippage Tolerance
Step 3
Finally, click on the Close Position button and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Wait for the confirmation that your position has been successfully closed. That's it!
