Primex token - PMX - is both a governance and utility token. It’s an ERC-20 token with a finite total supply. In addition to enabling holders to vote on important matters related to the protocol’s future via the community governance process, it also serves as an incentive for different participants of the Primex ecosystem and plays a crucial role in the consensus of Keepers.

In Primex Mainnet Beta, PMX has restricted transferability and can be used only for specific purposes inside the protocol, such as Keeper incentivization and protocol fee payments. This means that some functions will work a little bit differently during the first period after the launch. After that, Primex will pass through a transition period and finally enter stable operations with the full functionality of the PMX token.
