Step 1

To change the parameters of your position, go to the Margin Positions tab under the chart on the Trading page. Place your cursor on the position you want to change and click Modify position.

Step 2

You will see a window with the parameters of the position. Modifiable parameters are marked with the pencil icon. You can change the Deposit and TP/SL prices. Changed parameters will be marked as modified.

Modify Deposit

To change a deposit, click on the pencil icon and the following window will open.

You can increase or decrease your position's deposit. When you change it, the Position Size stays the same; it affects your debt to the Bucket and, consequently, the Liquidation Price - the higher the deposit, the lower the Liquidation Price. There is also the Max Increase value, which depends on the used leverage, i.e. you can't add more than the original Position Size.

You can increase the deposit using different assets. If you increase the deposit using an asset other than the one borrowed, you should choose a Dex option which will be used to swap it for the borrowed asset.

NOTE: When you increase the deposit using an asset different from the one borrowed, your asset is swapped for the borrowed asset and sent to the Bucket. You will not be able to get back the asset you provided, and the price of this asset doesn't have any effect on the deposit increase. When a position is closed, a Trader receives the rest of their deposit and profit (if any) in the borrowed asset.

When you decrease the deposit, you can get it only in the borrowed asset.

WARNING: Positions with low deposits have a higher liquidation risk.

To save changes, click Apply.

Modify TP/SL

To change TP/SL prices, click on the pencil icon. New prices can't break the rule LiquidationPrice < StopLoss < TakeProfit.

To save changes, click Apply.

NOTE: Apply doesn't save changes to the blockchain, a transaction will be generated after clicking Confirm in the Modify Position window. If you change the deposit and prices, you'll have to sign two transactions.

Step 3

To send the transaction, click Confirm and approve it in your wallet.
